True Disciples Love Jesus More Than Even Their Own Lives
Even the knowledge of the fact that Muslim fanatics were after her and monitoring her movement did not stop Dina from courageously witnessing about Jesus to other women. Not even the possibility of death could deter her, there were souls to be won and she was committed to winning them!

Now Dina models Jesus for me. She amazes me. Dina has no fear and will do anything for Jesus. I’ll give you an example.
One time, at the Zahle refugee camp in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, Dina knew she was being followed. The local “enforcers” were always after her, but by God’s grace she managed to stay a half step ahead of them.
In the center of the disgusting camp and engulfed by the stench of a huge garbage dump there, she and eight other women hid behind a pile of trash as she told them her story. It was one of many times she met with Muslim refugees from her beloved Syria, but she had to make it quick because the fanatics had begun to suspect her.
That particular time, Dina told the women what she always tells them:
It comes down to this, my dear ones: if you give your life to Jesus, your days may be short. I’m sure mine will be, but I gave up that concern months ago. Look at us. We have to hide just so I can read you a few verses from the Bible. If we did this out in the open, we’d be as dead as the donkey over there on that trash pile.
But my life is beautiful because of Jesus. Even if I die today, I’ve had a full life, and it’s all because of Him. This is what He wants to give you. I plead with you, my dear sisters. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms.
I interrupted the meeting that day because I knew her pursuers were likely getting close. She got my two-word text message: “Get out!”
But do you know what she did? My warrior-for-Christ wife simply bowed her head and prayed with those women. By the time they finished committing their lives to Jesus, they were all crying in joy—and Dina’s cell phone was vibrating nonstop. I really wanted her out of there.
She told me later that the group didn’t split up until they heard shouting from the fanatics within a stone’s throw. They hugged, and once again, God was good to them. They all disappeared safely in different directions.
