Chinese farmer, Chang Fang Yuan, was nearly beaten to death for preaching the Gospel in his village. But he didn't die, and instead prayed to the Father for the forgiveness and salvation of his attackers. His prayers were answered.
Mrs. Wang was a woman whose husband constantly reviled and curse her. But instead of resorting to a violent form of conflict resolution, she constantly prayed that God should forgive him. Eventually God answered her prayers and her husband became a Christian.
Mitsuo Fuchida read the conversion story of Jacob DeShazer, and he heard the personal story of Peggy Covell. As a result Fuchida began to read the Bible. When he came to Jesus' forgiveness of those who killed Him, Fuchida understood and gave his life to Jesus.
When a woman's husband is arrested for being a pastor, she gathered her young children to pray for the men who had just whisked their father away. Twenty years later, the lesson of praying for your enemies stuck with her son, who, now orphaned; having had both his parents martyred by the police, was himself now also jailed for his faith.
A Christian man that was sentenced to death expressed love for his persecutors and hope that he will see his wife in heaven. The officer on duty heard this conversation and later became a Christian.
