When Stephen Cheung is arrested and treated like a dangerous criminal, he considers this to be a blessing, to suffer for the name of Christ.
A famous Hindu priest immediately starts preaching Jesus when he is healed of paralysis and blindness. Soon, he is arrested, tortured and forced to deny Christ. But he held his ground, and upon his release; continued to preach the gospel leading many to Christ.
Brother Yun and ten house church leaders were arrested on the orders of the central government in Beijing. Horrendously, they were beaten and tortured without mercy.
Sundar Singh was arrested for preaching in a forbidden Tibetan village. But his joy was so great--joy that he might suffer for Jesus' sake--that he sang and preached all night long from his tiny cell window. The enraged officials tried to silence him with torture, but he sang hymns of praise to Jesus all the more.
When Pastor Shen Xiaoming was finally arrested, an elated police chief happily declared to him: 'It took me so many years to find you. This time, there will be no turning back. You will surely die in the detention prison.' His only crime all along, was proclaiming the Gospel.
