Revival grew out of a single village to become a movement in the surrounding country. Revived Christians went everywhere preaching the Gospel with amazing results. Most remarkable is the story of a man who was a notorious gambler, who journeyed on his donkey intending to collect his gambling debts. But God clearly directed the donkey to a revival meeting instead.
When Rosalind Goforth was asked to write a brief story on God's dealing with her, she wanted to be sure will be doing His will if she accepts the request, so she asked God for a sign. And just when she thought it wasn't happening God gave her the sign.
The obvious need for a befitting biography on George Müller after his passing became a subject of prayer for his son-in-law and successor, James Wright. His prayer was answered when Arthur T. Pierson reached out to inform him that he had been led to write the memoir.
By being careful to not run ahead of God, but to follow His leading, George Müller was able to purchase the parcel of land upon which his orphan houses stood—for much less than the advertised price—for God had told the seller in a dream to lower the price.
Brother Andrew was praying to God that Klaas and Eduard would join their mission team. Unknown to him, God had placed the same burden on their hearts. God orchestrated events that led both of them to join the team without any interference by Brother Andrew.
A believer was at a crossroad, not knowing where exactly in the service of God he should be. He asked for a sign and God gave it to him; making clear to him how he was to labour for the kingdom.
Dr. Sung wanted a confirmation that he should remain an itinerant evangelist. God provided the confirmation.
When the Lord was to call Bob Stokes to India for missionary service, He arranged a series of events, circumstances and at a timing that made it obvious He was calling Bob to the country. And as Bob shut himself to seek God's will through Bible Study and prayers, he got the needed confirmation.
When Auden Lujan was asked by Avis Goodhart to go serve fulltime in Peru, she was unwilling to go. But she prayed, asking for a rather difficult sign from God - and amazingly, she got the sign. She left for Peru, certain that God wanted her there.
While on a journey, Mr Blair had to choose between visiting two friends who lived on different routes. He prayed to God for divine guidance on who to visit and followed his horse, which led him to both friends who happened to be together at that particular time!
A young girl who had been called to serve God in China was suddenly overcome with fear and a feeling of loneliness. Just a minute delay on the risky journey to smuggle Christian literature into Romania could spell serious disaster. But on one of these journeys, the ten minutes delay Trevor and Andy encountered was their saving grace from certain disaster.
